Mark Muller- President
For the past 21 years, Mark has been working in the utility industry. While in this field he has held various positions. He began as a laborer and advanced to operator, and foreman in placement of power, CATV and telephone, then moved into a management position. For 10 years Mark was the project manager for all operations out of state. He handled all personnel hiring, terminations, weekly payroll timesheets, executing individual safety programs, customer service, and in-field accounting.
Through Mark's leadership TelCom Construction has seen tremendous growth. Marks' responsibilities have grown along with TelCom's growth. Now as President; he plans, develops and establishes policies and objectives for the business, which also includes overseeing operations, quality control, finance, and overall management of the business. With all of that, he continues to do sales, marketing, job costing and estimating. Mark is responsible for financial planning, delegating authority for receipt, disbursement, and banking of funds, bonding and investments.
David Rantasha - Senior Vice President
Dave began his career in the underground utility field in 1978. During those 30 years he gained experience in all aspects of metro and urban and rural construction, and RUS projects. His experience includes manhole and conduit systems rural cable plowing, splicing, directional boring, cable pulling, fiber blowing, and HDPE duct systems, as well as fiber rings, direct buried fiber and copper, building entries and power cable placement. Dave has been the project manager on projects ranging to $15,000,000. As Senior Vice President, he is in charge of overseeing multiple crews, contracts with subcontractors, the day-to-day productivity and overall quality of the project. His responsibilities include estimating, safety, personnel requirements, weekly time sheets, customer service and billing. Dave is a highly qualified and motivated individual, and brings with him the experience necessary to maintain successful relationships with our customer base. In 2007, Dave added to his experience project planning and overseeing all of our extraction crews that are currently working in five different states.
Steve Brings- Vice President
Steve began in the underground utility field in 1989. He joined a major contractor as a laborer, advanced to an operator position where he gained experience in backhoes, plows, directional boring, truck driving, hauling equipment to various states, etc., he was then promoted to project manager, a position he held for 6 years. While in this position, Steve handled the set-up for individual projects ranging from $50,000 to $10,000,000 and was responsible for all personnel hiring, job terminations, weekly payroll timesheets, safety programs, customer service, in-field accounting, etc. He was also responsible for purchasing all materials required for each projects, such as cable and maintaining equipment, including trucks, trailers, plows, etc. Steve was involved in the estimating of various job projects, billing of these individual projects, job scheduling, weekly production reports, hiring of subcontractors along with their billing, setting up local accounts and approving any accrued bills from these accounts.
As Vice President, Steve oversees day-to-day operations pertaining to labor and equipment, job scheduling, estimating, equipment maintenance, safety, billing, DOT, and construction hiring.
Jeff Antonuk - Vice President
Jeff Antonuk Joined the TelCom Construction Management team in August of 2005. Jeff brings 27 years of telecommunications experience and an excellent knowledge of the construction market in the Upper Midwest. He started his career in 1980 with an independent cable operator in the Wisconsin and Minnesota areas. Beginning as an installer and progressing through the organization until being appointed General Manager in 1992. As general manager, Jeff had responsibility for all overall operations of the company including construction, maintenance, marketing, billing, human resources, and budgeting. In 2000, Jeff joined a national telecommunications and utility contractor in the Midwest area. In 2003 he was appointed the VP of operations for the company in the Great Lakes region with over 400 employees and 1200 pieces of equipment. While with this company, Jeff and his team provided services to several national companies including Qwest, Verizon, Frontier, Charter, Comcast, and others. Annual revenue from the operation exceeded $20 million per year and sustained steady growth during his management tenure. Jeff brings an outstanding reputation for his dedication to customer needs and delivery of services on-time and at-budget. His experience is broad based and further adds to the depth and reliability that has become a trademark of the TelCom Construction organization.
Larry Sanders - Director of Sales
Larry joined TelCom in 2009. Larry brings over 20 years experience in sales, marketing and business development to TelCom. His experience covers a wide range of technologies from telephony, structured wiring and commercial audio video to computer systems and fiber to the home. His responsibilities include managing the marketing program and sales team, trade shows and new market business development.
